I'm a tattoo artist with over 7 years of experience, and I use the things I teach every day: hand control, linework and shading, and the whole process of working with clients.
I mostly learned on my own, so I know how much time you lose on mistakes when there's nobody to spot them and explain how to fix them. That helps me see quickly where you're getting stuck and what to do about it.
I work one-to-one, at a pace that suits you. No unnecessary theory: we cover what you need to get started quickly, and the rest of the time is practice.

Do I need experience to start?
No. Most people come with none, so we start with equipment, hygiene and hand position. If you do have experience, we spend the first lesson looking at what already works and what's holding you back.
How long is one lesson?
Three to four hours. About twenty minutes of that is theory; the rest is hands-on.
What should I bring?
Nothing. I provide the machines, needles, ink and synthetic skin. If you want to work with your own machine, bring it and we'll go through its setup.
What language are the lessons in?
English or Russian, whichever suits you better. Just say so when you book.
When do I start working on real skin?
Once your line is steady on synthetic skin. It varies from person to person: some need a few lessons, some need more — I won't rush you.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, after the 10- or 30-lesson course. It isn't a state-issued certificate; it confirms the course you've completed.
