What this guide is
This is a tattoo handbook put together by a working artist, not by a website’s editorial team. There’s no generic advice here: each page answers one specific question that a real person has before, during or after a session.
The guide follows the questions you might ask, from “should I get a tattoo?” through healing, touch-ups and removal. It isn’t here to sell you a tattoo. Some pages explain when it’s better not to get one, or to wait.
How to read it
There are two ways, and both work.
- Start with your situation. Choose the topic you need on the main guide page and read just that.
- In order. The topics are arranged in the order the questions usually come up: decision → idea → artist → session → aftercare.
Each page works the same way: a short answer first, the details below. If you’re short on time, the first paragraph is enough.
Who writes it
I’m a tattoo artist in Belgrade with more than seven years’ experience and over a thousand tattoos to my name. Everything here is based on my sessions with clients and the questions they ask most often.
That’s why the guide is full of practical detail: how long to leave the film on, what’s normal in the first few days and when to message your artist.
What you won’t find here
This is not medical advice. The guide describes what usually happens rather than assessing your individual case. If you have a chronic illness, take medication, are pregnant, have allergies or are having problems with healing, speak to a doctor rather than relying on an online guide.
You won’t find advice on your particular design, placement or price here either. Those details need to be discussed with your artist. The guide helps you arrive with your questions ready.
Language and updates
The guide is available in English, Russian and Serbian. You can change the language in the site header. The pages are updated whenever clients ask new questions. You’ll find the date of the last update at the top of each page.
